TDOR Flag Raise
On November 19th 2021 the City of Tacoma half masted the first Trans flag in the city’s history atop the Tacoma Municipal Building and PUD building, on November 20, 2021 they Proclaimed TDOR an official day in Tacoma, WA.

In 2008 DAPS (formerly GASS founded TDOR Tacoma) and in 2018 Astro Pittman, DAPS Board Member founded TDOR Seattle, this year we ran both events simultaneously and livestreamed them in order to provide the community with more accessible options and safe spaces for TDOR.

TPS “Started in 2013, Trans Pride Seattle is an annual event organized by Gender Justice League in collaboration with hundreds of local organizers, volunteers, and groups who support the Seattle-area TwoSpirit, Trans & Gender Diverse (2STGD) community. DAPS became a presenting sponsor in 2023.
