We are proud to be CHEER Tacoma’s 6th Season beneficiaries! “CHEER Tacoma is an LGBTQ ally organization dedicated to raising funds through the sport of cheerleading for under served populations in South Puget Sound.” Make sure to catch CHEER Tacoma at one of the many Pride events this summer!

Queer Quest Tacoma

Tacoma is home to Monkeyshines, Project DBT, Tacoma Rocks, and many other amazing hunts spread throughout the year. We have decided to join in the fun by creating Queer Quest Tacoma; an LGBTQIA+ rock and rogue hunt that will celebrate Tacoma’s amazing LGBTQIA+ residents and visitors, spread love and awareness, and create community.

The “quest” will be year round, but major months within the LGBTQIA+ community will have more rocks and rogues hidden during them; March, June, July, October, and November.

Everyone is encouraged to join and add the #QQT24 to their rocks and rogues, or join us at some of our special painting/craft nights spread throughout the year with community partners.

Trans Pride Seattle 24′

What: “Started in 2013, Trans Pride Seattle is an annual event organized by Gender Justice League in collaboration with hundreds of local organizers, volunteers, and groups who support the Seattle-area TwoSpirit, Trans & Gender Diverse (2STGD) community.

TDOR Tacoma

TDOR Tacoma was founded by GASS (our former name) in 2007 and we are continuing on the tradition of holding space for Tacoma and the South Sound to mourn and celebrate those we’ve lost each year.

TDOR Flag Raise

On November 19th 2021 the City of Tacoma half masted the first Trans flag in the city’s history atop the Tacoma Municipal Building and PUD building, on November 20, 2021 they Proclaimed TDOR an official day in Tacoma, WA.

TDOR Tacoma/ Seattle 2021

In 2008 DAPS (formerly GASS founded TDOR Tacoma) and in 2018 Astro Pittman, DAPS Board Member founded TDOR Seattle, this year we ran both events simultaneously and livestreamed them in order to provide the community with more accessible options and safe spaces for TDOR.
